It has been so long since I last posted. I lost my adapter to put my pictures on the computer with my SD card and just found it! Yay! I haven't stopped taking pictures though and I have a ton! Lately we have been pretty busy. Trevor's birthday, Halloween, Jacen's birthday, Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas have all came and I've got lots of pictures!

Jacen just turned 2 in November and had so much fun at his birthday party. He is getting so big now and changes all the time. He is a natural born athlete and loves LOVES sports! He's starting to talk more and more every day and will just randomly start saying new words. He loves his kitty, a little too much! More than anything though, Jacen loves his family! He is such a homebody and loves spending time as a family. It is the sweetest thing ever and we love him so much!

Haedan Is so big now! He weighs over 15 lbs and is almost 27 in long! He is so long and skinny, just like his daddy! He can sit up for a few seconds without support and is getting his hands and knees under himself really good.He can scoot himself all over the place and is already getting into things! I'm really going to be in trouble when he gets totally mobile! He's going to be crawling so soon and I am not ready! He loves being on his tummy. If you lay him on the floor, within seconds he's on his tummy. It's pretty funny. He really is my hot and cold baby. He's either super happy or super mad, but usually he's so happy! He has the biggest smiles ever and laughs and laughs all the time. We love his so much! Both of our boys are just wonderful! They are getting so big and become more fun every day!

Well after this post I am all caught up with posting my pictures! This last weekend we went to Utah to watch Trevor’s brother Jace play football. He did really good and his team won! Jacen and Trevor had so much fun at the game! Before the game we went to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. Jacen loves to study new things and thought that all the animals were super interesting. He was pretty cute with the tiger; he kept saying “rawr, rawr!” It was so cute! Jacen also had so much fun with Jet this trip. They are starting to understand how to play with each other and spent the whole weekend playing with each other! They would probably be best friends if we lived a little closer to them.

Haedan is also starting to get such a wonderful personality! He smiles all the time and has started laughing! Last night I read “Mr. D” off of the TV and he thought that was pretty funny. I’d say Mr. D and he’d giggle! It was just adorable! He did it over and over! Haedan looks so much like his Daddy! He has his eyes and his shape of head. He's also going to be a lean little boy! He's so handsome! He’s also getting such a strong neck! He can hold his head up so good now! He really is such a great baby! We have the best little boys!

Well I haven’t posted in so long that I still have pictures to post before Haedan was born! My pictures are in a super random order, but I tried to group his birth, blessing, and just hanging out all together.

I’ll start my post about before Haedan was born. Jacen gained about 15 pounds after his liver problems because of the medicine he is on. His body is getting used to it and now he’s lost quite a bit. He looks absolutely adorable, no matter what size he is, but I absolutely loved him chunky. His facial expressions were priceless with those big cheeks! When we went to the lake and the pictures with my grandparents are him at his biggest.

On June 24, Jordan, Trevor’s little brother, came home from his mission. Haedan was breech and my doctor was really unhappy about me going, but we made the trip. I was 37 weeks pregnant and they were thinking he was about 8 lbs already so it was likely I could go into labor. But the trip went without a hitch, we came home on the 27^th and Haedan was born on the 30^th! He started having some heart decels and wasn’t moving much at all, so they decided it was time for him to come! I had to have a C-section because he was breech. It wasn’t what I was hoping for at all, but I think the recovery was much easier! Duce Haedan Johnson was born at 2:32pm on June 30^th. He was 8lbs 8oz and 20 inches long! He was a big boy! It is so amazing how much love you feel automatically for your babies!! We love our baby boys so much and it only gets better every day! Haedan is now such a smiley happy boy and Jacen loves his brother so much! We are just so in love and so happy with our little family.

Well the last few months have been a whirlwind. We have had so much change! Some good news that we have is Trevor started a new job. He now works at the same mine my dad does and so far he is liking it. He's building fences right now and is going to be one buff and tan dude after this summer!!! We also bought a house. We really wanted to buy one before the tax credit expires and we made it by about a month! We really like the house. It was foreclosed so we got a GREAT deal and it's actually pretty big (1800 sq ft). We plan on totally remodeling it and I cannot wait for my kitchen! Hopefully we can get most of the remodeling done before our baby comes! July seems to keep coming so fast! I'm almost 30 weeks already!! We close on the house the middle of May so I hope that we can be done!
Sadly, these months have brought some not so great change also. Starting in the beginning of February, Jacen was sick with something every single day. He really never got a break. He had 3 ear infections in just 6 wks, a couple throat infections (one so bad he refused to eat or drink for a few days and had to be hospitalized overnight for it) a sinus infection and the stomach flu a couple of times. He just couldn't fight anything off! Then on March 11th he started throwing up. He didn't have any other stomach problems, but he threw up at least once a day for 3 weeks. It seemed like we were always in the doctors office, but they did blood work, urinalysis, and stomach tests, and everything came back negative. His urine was super dark and had lots of crystals, but they were thinking it was from dehydration from throwing up so much. Then on March 30th he started turning yellow. My mom and my doctor both didn't think he was that yellow, but they see jaundice babies all the time. I insisted that he get his liver checked, and my doctor said he'd run the blood work, then call me the next day to tell me the results. When I got a call from him a few hours later, I knew it wasn't good. He told me Jacen's liver enzymes were extremely high, that he had hepatitis and that we needed to go to Denver that night. When I heard the word hepatitis I was so SO offended. I had only heard of the type of hepatitis that is associated with drugs and other risky behaviors. I told him that "My husband and I do not lead hepatitis risk lifestyles, so I know my son doesn't have that!" He politely explained there were more kinds and that hepatitis just meant he was having liver failure. So that night we drove to Denver, got lost and ended up staying in a hotel for the night. The next morning we got Jacen admitted into the hospital and they immediately started an IV and labs. Our poor boy is a VERY hard stick and had to be poked over and over with them digging in his arms and even feet for a long time every time they needed blood! It was awful! He is so scared of doctors and needles now!!!! Who could blame him?! When those blood results came back we were shocked to hear the news Jacen's liver enzymes were insanely high. Normal levels are around 40, our little boy's were over 2200. He was in full blown liver failure. We were so worried, and so were the doctors. He was immediately locked in his room for the hepatitis and more blood work was ran. We found out that night that the next morning (Saturday) he would have a liver biopsy. They also told us that this could be a very risky procedure for him because his liver wasn't working so he wasn't clotting the way he should. If he didn't recover correctly or if something went wrong, he could bleed out during or after the surgery. They gave him some vitamin K to help clotting and typed his blood so if he did need some transfusions, they'd have the blood ready. We were scared to death. Well the next morning came and they were 3 hours late getting him to surgery (our poor guy was STARVING!!) But he came out great. They needed him to lay on his right side for 5 hours after surgery to avoid bleeding out, and he slept for 6! We were so relieved! The next day, Sunday, they told us the likely diagnosis. Jacen (they are 80% sure) has auto immune hepatitis. Auto immune hepatitis is when the immune system rejects and attacks the liver. It can be caused 2 ways, heredity or by a virus. More than likely, Jacen's was caused by a virus that somehow changed the composition of his immune system. It is chronic and the type Jacen has will never go into remission, meaning he will be on medicine for it for the rest of his life. If he doesn't take his medicine, he will go into liver failure. Auto immune hepatitis is not contagious, and only if his type is genetic will he have to worry about passing it to his kids. He could share his blood with you, lick you and hug you and you would never catch it. It is sort of like a cancer in that way and in the way that one type of auto immune hepatitis can go into remission. His liver is very scarred and damaged, but one great thing about the liver is, with time, it will repair it's self. If his body keeps responding to the medicine as well as it has so far, he will only have a slightly greater chance of developing cirrhosis and liver cancer as anyone else. But a transplant is still not ruled out down the road. We ended up staying a total of 5 days in the hospital, but we've been home for about 2 weeks. To treat this, they started giving him steroids and he has responded great. He has extreme "roid rage", is super hungry all the time, has trouble sleeping and has been gaining a lot of weight, especially in his face because of the steroids, but if they are helping his liver, none of that matters! He will be on the steroids for 6-12 months, slowly getting weened off of them and weened onto immune suppressants, which is what he will be treated with the rest of his life. Because steroids and immune suppressants weaken the immune system, he is much more likely to get sick and when he gets sick it will be more severe and will last longer than normal. He got the stomach flu right after we got back from Denver and it lasted 10 days. I got it also, but mine only lasted 2. He also has thrush right now, something that usually only affects little babies. But that is what his immune system is like right now. It's sad, but we are so grateful that there is a treatment for this. It may not be curable, it may be hard to live with, but he will live, he will be able to have a somewhat normal life, and we have our baby boy who we love so much! We are blessed!

We live just a few yards from a little kids park and me and Jacen walk there almost everyday. This is when it was still a little cold so he's all carhart-ed up!

Jacen is so much like Trevor. I am scared to see what he'll be like when he gets older, because he's a little OCD right now. This is how he likes to sort his food. He doesn't like different food being mixed so he sorted the marshmallows from the crackers.

This is him sorting again except he had to have all of the little yogurt dollops sitting on their bottoms. He sorted them from his crackers, then made sure they were all facing upwards.

Jacen and Trevors favorite snack is dipping graham crackers in milk.

What a cutie! He loves his little camo hat and wore it a lot while we were down there. I think it made him feel somewhat normal when everything else was so different.

A father's love! We were so lucky that Trevor was able to take off work and spend the entire time in Denver with us. Jacen loves, adores and admires Trevor more than I ever knew possible. If I wasn't able to comfort Jacen, Trevor was able to distract him. Trevor is SUCH an AMAZING dad. Jacen and this next little one are so lucky and I know they'll both want to grow up to be just like him!I love my husband!

Trevor spent a lot of the week watching March Madness and Jacen was right there with him.

I'm sure you're wondering why I'd ever post this picture of myself lol but we were so tired and crazy. Being 7 months pregnant doesn't help either. But I really was there with my baby, I only have this picture to show for it though!

This is our house that we just bought. We close on May 12 and are gutting it so I'll post pictures of the inside when we're finished. We really got a great deal, it's in a great place in Glenrock, is 1800 sq feet, appraises for 155,000 as is, and we are getting it for 108,500. With the 8000 tax credit, we really are able to fix it up too. We can't wait to move in and get started!

Well for anyone who might not know, we are expecting in July! I am 21 weeks now and we just found out this last Tuesday that we're going to have another little boy!!!! We couldn't be happier. Jacen and this little one will be about 20 months apart and I think it'll be so fun for them to have a little buddy! We plan on naming him Duce Quenten and calling him Quenten, or Q. Duce is my dad's name and we just like the name Quenten. We really are so excited!!!! I want a girl eventually, but I was excited that this one is a boy. I know what kind of daughter I probably deserve, so I'm a little nervous to have a girl! We really are so excited to have another baby, boy or girl though! We can't wait to meet him!

Christmas and the New Year

Well I have been horrible about taking pictures lately and have none of Jacen opening presents, but he really doesn't open them so they wouldn't have been the best anyways. For Christmas, we were up here in Wyoming this year. We had a "Charlie Brown" tree. When we were setting it up Jacen broke 2 ornaments so we just put a nonbreakable ornament and candy canes on it. It was pretty ghetto! My Grandma Griffin wasn't up here this year (we really missed her!) so we did Christmas Eve dinner (our big night) down at our house this year because we have a huge kitchen. It was really nice and Jacen loved having everyone over. Santa always comes to my parents house while we eat Christmas Eve dinner, so we went up and opened presents right after dinner. It was so fun! Trevor got a really nice tool set and tons of hunting and fishing things. I got tons of makeup and kitchen things! I was so excited! Jacen got so many toys that we don't know what to do with them all! He is in heaven every day :) He also got the cutest clothes, which he badly needed and I think we'll be good to go through all of the winter months this year! Grandma and Grandpa Johnson got him some really cute clothes and a tractor that he just loves! We got so spoiled!

We did our Christmas on Christmas morning and had a big breakfast and opened our presents. It was so fun to be a little family of our own! Trevor got me a popcorn popper, kitchen things, and candy. He knows me so well. Everything I opened from him I kept saying, Oh I needed this so bad!! He's the best! I got him a GPS, a camo back pack and a down comforter and duvet cover (which was kinda for me too!) It really was a great Christmas!

For New Years, Jacen and I were both sick so we just stayed home. We all were such party poopers that we went to bed at 9! But what a better way to start the New Year!

Jacen is getting so big! He really is a big boy now. I gave him his first hair cut and now he looks so old! He's not our little baby anymore!

I cannot even believe Jacen is already a year old!!! He woke up at 7:30 and had some mini pancakes for breakfast. During breakfast, we had a little drama. Tank would not stop barking outside, so I went out to yell at him, shutting the door behind me since it had snowed. Well our doors will open from the inside even when they are locked, and I locked poor Jacen in the house all alone. What's even worse was I was only in my garments and robe so I didn't want to go to my neighbors. So I ended up kicking the back door in burgular style! After our eventful breakfast, we played all day. Jacen didn't take any naps until 3 pm, which is really late for him, so I speed cleaned while he napped.

For his birthday party, we had my family come down and had his favorite dinne, Mac & Cheese! My sister and I made him a big baseball cupcake and a bigger cake for everyone else. We all thought he would eat the whole cake but he just messed up the frosting then wanted to be cleaned up!

He loves all of his presents! His favorites have to be foam blocks, a ball thrower, and a piano! He got so much! A tractor, a bunch of balls, bead games, a toy town game, and tons others! He loves it all!!! We haven't had a bored day since!

Jacen had his 1 year old check up and shots on Monday and he's doing great. His weight is up to 22 lbs 6 oz (40%) and he's 29 3/4 inches (60%). At his 9 month appointment he was only in the 25% for weight so we're doing much better with that. He's very advanced developmentally, which we're really happy with too! He has 5 little teeth and an under bite! I had an under bite as a kid and know we're in a long road to fix it! We love our sweet handsome boy with all our hearts!! We couldn't ask for a better family!

I also got to post about Jacen's first halloween!!! He was a cute little pumpkin, but didn't get too into it. It was pretty cold and he wasn't a big fan of the trick or treating. We did go to my Grandpa Ed's house, which was really fun! We do it every year and it's so fun with little ones. We then went to the church's trunk or treating. Jacen did have fun with carving the pumpkins and was really into throwing the seeds! :) It was a lot of fun.

Well I haven't posted in so long! I have a bunch of pictures so I am just going to blog under the pictures, cuz I can't even remember it all! This is in order from earliest in the year to today.

Jacen has started walking!!! Not far or very well, but yesterday he took his first real steps and today it seems as if he's a 100 times better! We're so excited, even though we know this will mean so much more work for us! He's so funny about it. You can see in the video that he is pretty entranced with the camera. You'll have to excuse our crazy house and me always looking at the camera, I had no idea I looked at it so much :) But at the end Jacen is standing mostly on his own throwing his golf ball. He loves balls and now throws everything! But we're excited and will post more when he gets even better at it!!!!

Tank's Dog house

Well Tank is by far the worlds most spoiled dog, or at least the most spoiled dog I know! Trevor and his friend Van decided to build him a massive dog house! It is almost as tall as I am, has insulated walls, and is going to have shingles! Plus he has his own fluffy bed, a king sized blanked and a little throw blanket! What a lucky puppy! Tank just loves it!

Well my camera ran out of batteries and then I lost it. So for the past month and a half, I have no pictures. For the 4th of July, we went to Delta and had so much fun! They have so many fun things to do! Jacen got his first tooth right before we left and just yesterday is starting to get his 2nd! It's taking so long and he looked pretty cute with just the one! On the weekend of the 25 & 26 of July, we went to the Johnson Family Reunion in Delta! It was CRAZY how many people were there and then to think they were all only Dave's siblings and their kids! Wow its a big family but it is such a fun one! We had so much fun getting to see family that Trevor hasn't seen in years and me and Jacen have never seen! Which was about half of them! We really did have a great 2 weekends in Delta this last month!

Jacen has really been changing and growing! He is so funny! He can say Dada, Mom, Baba (for bottle), and Ball. He loves to play with balls, they are by far his favorite toys. If you tell him to go get his ball, he'll find one out of all the other toys. We think he's just the smartest little boy, but we are his parents! He is really able to move and is pretty close to walking. The other day he jumped off the couch, over the arm rest, head first on our wood floor! He had the biggest goose egg! It was so sad! His first big ouch was when he tried to climb off the front porch steps and landed on his forehead on the cement! Poor guy! I don't have many picture updates since my camera was broke, but I posted the few I have.

For my dad's father's day and my mom's birthday (which they both had to postpone) we went to the mountains this past weekend. We took family pictures, ate a yummy lunch, did some fishing and had a cook out. It was a lot of fun for everyone except poor Jacen. He is teething and not feeling the best. He got woken up from every nap of the day. Plus he got whacked in the face with a tree branch and got his eye scraped up pretty good. Poor guy, but all in all he's pretty tough and was a good sport about it all.

These are some of the pictures I got with my camera, which was dying the entire trip. My mom has lots more and much better pictures. When she develops them, I'll have a whole new post with much better pictures!

Fathers Day fun!

For Trevor's first Fathers day, we decided go to Casper and have some fun up there, then come back and go fishing on the mountain. It was too windy to catch anything, but it was probably the funnest trip up there. We went to a beautiful place (we later found out it was private property, OOPS!!), and tried to fish. There were huge rain clouds in the sky and we were expecting to get rained out, but it missed totally us. Once we left, we found out we were the only place to be missed though. The roads were so muddy! We ended up sliding all over the road, it was a blast!!! On our way down, we see a cloud that looks like a funnel cloud. Well we were right! We were able to watch it go from a funnel cloud, to a tornado, and suck back up into the sky! It was the coolest ever!

This was our fishing spot. The mountains are beautiful this time of year!

This weekend I had a softball tournament. In between games, we went shopping and went to Sportsmans Warehouse to look around. In the parking lot, people were selling the most adorable puppies. My mom has German Shepard puppies right now and we know Jacen loves them, so we took him over to see them. He loved them!!! They would lick his hands and he would just laugh and laugh. They were so gentle with them. It was so sweet to see, but I didn't want any pets and Trevor has always been against any animal without hooves. Well we got the lady's number, but I had a softball game and we needed to leave. During my softball game, I got all sorts of texts from Trevor saying "Do you want a puppy today?" and "What would we even name it?" I knew he wanted one pretty badly by then. So after my game, we called the lady and we went to see them again and bought this little guy. His name is Tank and he is a Wiemerimer/German Shorthaired mix. He had the very least amount of white on him, just a little line on his chest. He is super mellow, but can get wild for about 10 mins out of the day. He loves Jacen! I think he thinks that they are brothers because he will crawl all over him and lick off Jacens drool. It's super cute. He is Trevor and Jacen's dog, and definitely loves them most. His first night he cried and woke up all the neighbors, so Trevor ended up snuggling with him on the couch for the rest of the night! Who would've ever thought that!?! He definitely has Trevor wrapped around his paw lol. Tank has also helped Jacen start crawling more. He can now crawl completely. Tank and Jacen were playing on the grass at my game, and Jacen just started crawling after him and is really good at it now.

Tank doesn't look so thrilled, but he really does love Jacen. And as you can tell, Jacen is pretty crazy about him. He just lights up when Tank plays with him.

I don't know how he does it, but Tank can sleep through Jacen yanking his ears, chewing on his back and pulling all his loose skin!

Well time has flown by! I can't believe it's June! Jacen is so close to crawling, so we decided it was time to baby proof the house and give him a big boy crib. He loves the crib and puts himself to sleep almost every night now.

We think that he is teething right now. He is so fussy, but especially at night. But a little tylenol and something to chew on makes him feel better.

Well sorry about the picture overload, it's been awhile and he's changed so much!

His crib! He started in a bassinet, then his pak n play. Now we're going to be staying in this house longer and thought we should give him a real crib! I used to be a nanny and the lady I nannied for gave us this crib! It is so nice!! And Huge!

Daddy thought he'd be funny and put some extra vinyl on his forehead. Jacen actually thought it was pretty funny too!

Well the time has seriously flown by and Jacen is already 6 months old! He is hilarious and is so much fun! Right now he is sitting in his play center thing and screaming his happy scream. He's going to be a WILD boy!

At his 6 month appoinment, he weighed 17 lbs 2 oz and was 26.5 inches long. He wears 12 month old clothes now and size 3 diapers. He can roll over and spin on his belly, which makes changing his diaper crazy and messy! He hates real food except bananas, but would nurse the rest of his life if he could. He's trying to start crawling, when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he is always on his hands and knees, screamin as loud as possible. He still won't sleep through the night and I actually think he has gotten worse lately. He was sick a lot last month and didn't sleep good at all with that, and now it's a habit. The night before last he woke up 7 times!! Talk about a tired mommy and daddy! He has started taking a sippy cup, but only wants the girly one that I accidentally bought. I think he is teething and likes the cold water of the sippy cup on his teeth.

Well we are so lucky and so proud of our little guy! He is our whole life!

Past Month

Well I have been insane with school and Jacen being sick so I don't have many pictures. Jacen has been sick twice in the last month. He had a sinus or ear infection the first of this month, now he has double ear infections and croup! It's awful. Plus I have been having huge assignment after another due so it's been crazy. So I have no easter pictures and no pictures from our last trip to Delta.

He looks so cute in this outfit. The shirt is a 12 month one! He's so big!

This is a picture I took today while he is napping. He's not a big fan of clothes so he sleeps naked quite a bit!

Poor guy! This is his mask for his breathing treatments that he has to do. (It's a dragon and actually pretty cute!) We took him to the doctor yesterday and the doctor said he was hardly getting any air in his lungs and made him do a breathing treatment right there! I was scared to death! He also has a binkin that he can suck on to get his breathing treatment. He likes that much better but is really getting sick of all this medicine.

Delta

Well my pictures are a little out of order, but over conference weekend we went down to Delta. It was a really fun visit and it was so great seeing all of the family! This was our first time getting to see baby Jaylee and she is absolutely adorable! Jacen loved her and was giving her kisses! It was so cute! We were also able to watch Trevor's brothers Jace and Hunter play soccer and basketball. They are so good at sports, it was really fun to watch!

Also, Daerrian came to play with Jacen and I the other day. He decided to take some pictures of Jacen and really got some good ones!

Well Jacen has started eating cereal now! He isn't a very big fan of it yet and he spits out most of it, but he'll get the hang of it here soon. The other night Trevor asked if he could feed him. When I looked at poor Jacen, this is what he looked like:

Jacen and I have so much fun playing together while Trevor is at work. He talks and laughs all the time and loves to play with his toys. His favorites are a ball with a bunch of holes in it, he can grab on to it really easily, and some Baby Einstein blocks which he loves to kick! It is so much fun to watch him change and grow! There's no doubt, we love our boy!

These are some quick pictures I took of Jacen today. He is getting so big!

Well yesterday Jacen had his 4 month old appointment and shots. He is such a big boy now! He weighs 15 lbs 5 oz and is 25.75 inches long! Our doctor said he is "very strong" because he loves to stand up and can hold himself up for a long time!

I've also lost my journal in the move to Glenrock, so I am going to write about some of the really fun things he has been doing here. Just last week he started really kicking his feet, he kicks everything, but especially loves kicking his soft play blocks. He has also started yelling. It's really funny cuz its super high pitched and he only does it when he is totally mad! It's not a cry or a scream really, just a yell. Also this past week he has learned how to switch something from one hand to the next. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but I just took developmental psychology in school and I guess this is a huge developmental step! Yay for Jacen!

He is so much fun! He laughs all the time, but he especially loves to be undressed! He laughs so hard when you take off his clothes! He is also such a major Daddy's boy. He loves me during the day and when it's time for bed, but he knows when Daddy gets home. As soon as Trevor walks in the door, he wants nothing to do with me and will cry if I hold him and smile and laugh for Trevor. It is absolutely adorable! The other night Trevor was late getting home, but at 5:40 on the dot (when Trev normally gets home) Jacen started getting super fussy and cried until his Daddy got home.

We are so proud of our little man and couldn't have asked for a better boy! We are so in love!

Trevor is taking the worst online english class in the World!!!! So today he came to me with a "proposition". He would take care of Jacen, help me clean the house, and not be mean or grouchy, and I would do his homework. Well I couldn't turn down that offer! So while I was doing his horrible essays, he was wearing Jacen in the sling and doing the dishes! I still don't know who made out better on the deal.

For my birthday, I wanted to get pictures of our family taken. We decided to wait til summer for our family pictures, but I did get pictures of Jacen. He is getting so big and fun now. He smiles and laughs all the time and loves to be the center of attention! He is really starting to look a lot like Trevor. In this first picture, I think he looks so much like his daddy! It is so fun watching him grow and change!

Trevor thinks this picture is pretty cheesy, but he has the cutest profile! The background is pretty lame though!

I know I'm his mom but I do have to say I think he is the best baby ever! He doesn't cry very much and he is all smiles! We're so lucky!!

Well I'll warn you before you look down the page, I have about 30 pictures that I needed to post. Jacen is getting so big! These first pictures are the most recent of him. He has started laughing and smiling so much! He loves to talk, especially to his daddy. Trevor sings to him all the time and he sings right along with him! It is the cutest! He still isn't sleeping through the night yet, but he is much better about his bed time, usually falling asleep around 10 pm. He loves to grab his toys and he puts everything in his mouth now! He is so fun! Being parents is the best!!!

Christmas and more

Well I have quite a few pictures, but I haven't got them developed yet. But I'll post them soon.

For Christmas this year, we stayed up here in Wyoming. On the 23rd, Trevor and I decided to celebrate our Christmas with our little family. I made a huge turkey dinner, which actually turned our really good! We opened our Christmas pj's before dinner, Trev's family opens them every Christmas Eve. They are so cute! After dinner, we opened our stockings. Since I am definitely built different now that I had Jacen, I have NO clothes that fit right. So I got $350 in gift cards in my stocking to buy some clothes!!!! Yay!! In Trev's stocking, he also got a gift card, to buy any bow that he wanted. Our stockings were awesome this year! I also got cute shoes, perfume, makeup, and some more clothes! Trevor got some camoflage, a tool box and tools, a belt, and some clothes. Jacen didn't get much from us this year, cuz we have way too much stuff for him already! But we got him a really cute outfit, and Santa got him some Baby einstein videos. It was all of our favorite Christmas so far!

On Christmas Eve, we headed down to Glenrock to celebrate Christmas with my family. We went to my Grandma Griffin's house and went on our Christmas drive. This year was a small Christmas and it was my family, my aunt Lori, her boyfriend and my cousin Christopher at my Grandma's house. We opened our presents, it was so much fun! After we were finished at my Grandma's house, we went down to my parents! and Santa had came! Jacen got loaded! My cousin Chelsie got him a bunch of fun toys, so did my Grandma Griffin. He also got a really cute lullaby book and a bunch of cute outfits from my Grandma Laird! My parents got him some really fun baby einstein toys, like a bouncy play seat and a fun tunnel. He also got an awesome monitor, some really cute clothes and way fun toys! We are so lucky! We haven't had to buy him hardly anything because he is treated so good by his Great Grandparents, his Grandparents, and his Aunts and Uncles! Me and Trev got a ton of fun things also, I got some great makeup, clothes, movies, a waffle maker (Yum!) and a filing cabinet and so much more! Trevor got some awesome binoculars, camo, lots of great smelling cologne, clothes, fishing things and tons more! We were SO BLESSED!!!!

Today we are leaving for Delta to bless Jacen and do our Christmas down there. We decided last year that New Years Eve will be our own holiday with our little family though, so we are staying the night in a hotel and eating at a great mexican resturaunt tonight!

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Delta. Jacen turned 2 weeks old on Thanksgiving day and was such a trooper! Thats a long way on a little guy! But on the way he got his first bath, stayed in his first hotel, had his first holiday, and set up his first Christmas Tree! He also got to meet a whole bunch of family! Well we had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Delta, but I haven't been able to develop my pictures yet, so I'll post those later. These are just some random pictures of Jacen. He is getting so big! Its so much fun when he is awake! I know we're his parents but we both agree he is the cutest baby in this world!

On Thursday we went to the doctor. Jacen already weighs 9 lbs 4 oz, after just 1 week! He also grew 3/4 of an inch in length and his head is 16 in around! He'll be enormous if he keeps growing like this! It is so much fun to see him change. He is starting to look a lot like Trevor, which he loves! Being parents is the BEST!

Our little guy is named after his dad (David Trevor), his Grandpa (Dave) and his Uncle Jace.

We are going to call him Jacen!

This is the name card that was placed on his cradle at the hospital. His head (14 1/2 in) is huge! He was the only baby whose head could fit in the football helmet beanie that he is wearing in the picture above!

Well today we had another ultrasound. This time they said we're having a girl!!!!!!! This really shocked us! So we're not sure what were having anymore but as of now, it's a girl!

This is a video of the ultrasound. She (maybe he) was moving the entire time so the pictures didn't turn out so well but you can really see her on the video. It's so fun to feel her move and then to see it on the big screen!

A few months ago, we found out that we will be expecting our first on November 1st. Last Thursday we found out that we will be having a little boy! We were both hoping for a boy and couldn't be happier! We have decided to name him David Jarom Johnson and call him Jarom. Denielle is finally not sick everyday, just every once in a while, and is finally thinking it's fun to be pregnant. He is moving so much now, Trevor can even feel him. It's been so much fun already! We can't wait to meet the little guy!!!!

On his mission, Trevor's second area was in Glenrock Wyoming, my home town. Though he had changed quite a bit on his mission, the picture is proof, I was smitten. Two years and a few months later, he called my house and thats where it all began.
